A. BoaterExam.com® is the Internet division of Forensic and Nautical Consultants of Canada, FNCC. FNCC is a Transport Canada accredited course provider.

Security and Privacy

Q. Is it safe to pay by credit card?

A. Yes, this web site is 100% secure for accepting credit card payments, using the same security as that used for online banking. This web site has an Entrust Secure Connection, with 128 bit encryption, on any pages where personal or payment information is submitted.

Q. What do you do with my personal information?

A. Your personal information will not be shared with any other companies, and will be used in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.

Refunds and Returns

Q. What is your refund / return policy?

A. Once a customer has registered on BoaterExam.com®, if he/she decides not to take the exam online, he/she may transfer their account to another person of their choice. They must advise BoaterExam.com® of the change by e-mail or telephone within 90 days of the registration date. There will be no refunds, unless the customer was charged more than once due to technical problems during the registration process.
